Produced by
Barking Fish Entertainment,
the “American Fighter” TV pilot tells the inspiring stories of regular
people who demonstrate the fighting spirit in their own lives. Rich
hosts the show and works closely with its subjects to help them achieve
their goals. The initial episode is based on the story of Cincinnati
resident Joe Garvey, a former all-star athlete who was paralyzed in an
ATV accident several years ago. Although doctors told him he
would never walk again, Joe is defying the odds and proving them wrong.
Through hard work and intensive rehabilitation, he has recently taken
his first steps with the help of crutches. This kind of fighting spirit
is the basis of Rich’s fighting career, his TV show, and the “American
Fighter” brand. This TV premier party is about celebrating that spirit
with Rich, the Garvey family, and the show’s producers.
